AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): Tripura Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy while addressing at the Astabal Stadium on Road Safety Week’s inauguration programme has called bike riders to control their reckless driving as their death, kills everyone of their family.

“Those who are dying in road mishaps, their families are devastated. But there are such victims, who didn’t die but for their whole life has left paralyzed on bed”, the Minister said.

“Think about those families where a family member is left disable after critical accident”.

“We have to overcome the dangerous threat of road-killings, which killed 1.5 lakh people in India in the last year”, he said.
