AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): Tripura's Bengali daily newspaper editor Paritosh Biswas was felicitated and awarded for his creative journalism and huge achievement as a media role-model in state Tripura.

The award was given by Rakhalraj Datta, on behalf of artists group at Rabindra Bhawan on yesterday.

'Sandyan' newspaper editor Subal Dey was also present on that occasion. 

While addressing the gathering at Rabindra Bhawan, Paritosh Biswash depicted his hard days of life at the beginning of the publication of Jagaran newspaper. The editor of Jagaran newspaper also expressed concerns about the deteriorating values and ethics of media world.

Subal Dey, Sandyan Patrika editor voiced against the attacks upon media person, which is the fourth pillar of democracy.
