AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb today said, Tripura Govt is aimed to create an addiction-free society, free from crime against women and also a poverty-less society.
Biplab Deb was addressing in Rabindra Bhawan, in a felicitation programme conducted by Maharaj Ganj Bazar businessmen unit.
"Without addiction-free societies, a nation can't develop. It was communist's ideology to keep the youths addicted instead of providing them jobs. But, our govt's motive is different. We are moving to form a "Nesha-Mukt" society", CM said.
"Money should be equally distributed. All should enjoy the equal distribution of money rather than a group of mafias should become rich with phensedyl business", CM said.
"Without curbing crime against women, it's not possible to form a developed society. High rate of crime against women have paralyzed the society under the communists, but now it's a time for change. Our Govt is working in that direction", he added.
