AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN) Excessive rain on the day-2, have once again flooded Agartala city, disrupting vehicle movements heavily.
The rain which started at the morning around 9 am had continued till 10.30 pm led heavy water-logging which had hit the Capital City Agartala.
Recently few machines were set at the city’s prominent areas which are famous for water-loggings, but when rain came, the City started flooding.
The normal lives were highly interrupted due to the rain, but more showers are expected in next 2 days according to the weather dept.
Under the previous CPI-M govt, the situation turned so pathetic that the then Chief Minister Manik Sarkar had to take bus to reach secretariat. Now it’s to be seen under the present govt what development comes.
