AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): National Federation for New States has backed Tipraland demand.
Extending its support to the ongoing agitation for a separate state of Tipraland, the National Federation for New States (NFNS) on Saturday held a meeting with IPFT members at Agartala.
IPFT Minister cum IPFT President NC Debbarma remained present in that meeting.
“The problems in Tripura land, Gorkhaland, Vidarbha, Bundelkhand or Bodoland and Purvanchal have only one solution. And that is the creation of these states. The buck stops at the ruling party’s doorstep,” the NFNS said.
NFNS President Shrihari Aney recently also urged the central government to take the movement for separate statehood seriously and find a solution. In a meeting, the leaders have decided about their next steps.
