AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Tripura Congress President Birjit Sinha has demanded immediate CBI investigation in Rose Valley chit fund scam. Hitting the silence of BJP Ministers like Ratan Lal Nath, who promised before election about immediate CBI investigation after BJP makes a Govt, in Tripura Birjit Sinha said, “I don’t understand, why BJP Ministers are silent on this Rose Valley issue since the Election result. It’s quite surprising that the Ministers who promised about CBI investigation in Rose Valley scam, now avoiding media on this particular issue. 14 lakhs people’s money were looted by Rose Valley and for that only and only the the govt CPI-M was responsible. Under CPI-M era, the govt was never ready to handover the case to the CBI. It was expected immediate action will be taken against Rose Valley once BJP makes a Govt here, but unfortunately after one and half month of cabinet formation, not a single promise they could fulfill. CBI investigation is already delayed but now BJP is delaying it without any reason. They should right now handover the case to CBI”.

Tripura BJP is delaying its pre-poll promise about CBI investigation against chit fund scamsters of Tripura, even though chit fund was one of the major allegations brought by the opposition before election to unseat the CPI-M. Before the election, the present Minister Ratan Lal Nath said, "There is no doubt that immediately BJP Govt will take action against Rose Valley and other chit fund scamsters once it comes in power. It's sure that the first action of the BJP Govt will be to handover the cases to CBI". The BJP Minister on that time also said, the employees who distributed licenses years after years to them (Chit Fund owners), will be arrested first and via them the main heads will come. But with the delaying of CBI by the BJP Govt has raised question on BJP's motive behind big-promises as day after day the cases are becoming old, clueless.

From Bijita Nath to Gautam Das nobody could be traced by CBI in Rose Valley links and the same time BJP failed to down Manik Sarkar's clean image with appropriate logics. Now, after assuming power in Tripura, BJP has once again delayed the CBI investigation in Rose Valley, which has already generated criticism against BJP's 'works' and 'words'.
