AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Just like SSA teachers, the contractual staffs of MGNREGA , RD will continue their jobs.

But it was promised before the election that once the BJP comes in power the govt will regularize all contractual employees.

“The Council of Ministers today approved the proposal for continuation of the service of different categories of contractual staff engaged for implementation of MGNREGA under R.D Department, Govt of Tripura”, BJP Govt announced it on yesterday.

BJP in its Vision Document said in No-10 promise : “Regularization of all contractual Govt employees”, but after around 2 months of passage, no decision has been taken in favour of regularization. However from NHM to SSA all are waiting to be regularized.
