AGARTALA, April 18 (TIWN): Khowai Dist Secretary of CPI-M Biswajit Datta has resigned from his designation alleging party conspiracy against him.

Biswajit Datta alleged party’s infighting and heavy corruption led various conspiracies against him ahead of the Assembly Election.

It has been claimed by Datta that during nomination submissions, he was forcefully taken to ICU in AGMC and nobody was allowed to meet him. As a result Datta couldn’t submit his nomination, whereas he was not ill.

“Finally Biswajit Datta, veteran CPI-M leader of Tripura unit, shouted about the conspiracy of his own party colleagues against him and tendered his resignation from all posts of CPIM. Earlier,the former MLA used to hold the post of secretary of Khowai district committee”, BJP spokesperson Mrinal Kanti Deb said.

“During the last assembly election, suddenly CPI-M changed their candidate from Khowai constituency after giving nomination to that founder member. Forcefully he was sent to ICU in Agartala Govt. medical college and no one was allowed to meet him”, Deb further added.
