AGARTALA, April 17 (TIWN): Along with the whole nation, Tripura District & Session judges have also called for National Lok-Adalat on April 22 at 10 am.

On that day, pending cases of 11 benches will be targeted to end.

This will be the 2nd National Lok Adalat that will hear civil and compoundable criminal cases.

Tripura State Legal Services Authority will be the nodal agency to conduct the exercise in the State.

The Lok Adalat will render services without any expenditure or fee.

The court fee, if paid, will also be refunded if the matter is settled through Lok Adalat. No appeal can be made against award passed in Lok Adalat.
