AGARTALA, April 17 (TIWN): In the fact sheet of 'the End to end Computerization of TPDS Operations' it has been said today, "A planned scheme, launched during 2012-13 with an estimated expenditure with Rs. 884 crore with the sharing pattern of 90 : 10 with Centre for Northeast. Sanctioned fund for Tripura was Rs. 10.85 crore, whereas Rs. 7.81 crore has been utilized".
The completed areas are under the project are :
1) National platform on e-Governance standards,
2) Integrated with Banking infrastructure,
3) Digitized and de-duplicated data base, seeded with Adhaar,
4) Online allocation and distribution of food grains,
5) Computerized food offices and gowdowns,
6) Automated grievance redressal mechanism,
Chief Minister Biplab Deb said, "97.92 % ration cards have been linked with Aadhaar cards in Tripura. The second phase have been started on E-rationing system.
CM also appreciated Food & Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Manoj Deb and Principal Secretary Y Kumar saying, "They are doing great jobs".
