Governor Tathagata Roy and the First Lady Anuradha Roy will inaugurate the new Governor House near Secretariat. 

Addressing media Tathagata Roy recently said by describing the background of the new Raj Bhawan building construction,  "Being also an engineer I myself instructed the workers how to progress the work in proper way. Above 6 to 7 times I held meetings regarding the completion of the building".

"The construction took long time to get completed. 6 years shouldn't be necessary to complete such a building. Many works still left to be completed", Governor said.
