11 days Jail Custody to 6 accused in Dharmanagar minor girl kidnapping, rape case : Next hearing on April-26

DHARMANAGAR, April 17 (TIWN): 5 men, 1 woman have been sent to suffer 11 days Jail Custody by Police in minor girl rape and kidnapping case, Dharmanagar Police said.
Dharmanagar Police on Monday night had arrested 5 kidnappers from the jail quarter zone at there. The incident took place on Tuesday night, when 5 youths after kidnapping a minor girl, raped her in Jail Quarter with the help of one lady. The 16 years minor girl was returning from her tutor's home in the evening at Akon-Bakon area of Jail Quarter line.
The kidnappers were first seen by jail-staffs who took shelter in the quarter on yesterday night for this brutal crime. Police rushed to the spot immediately after getting informed about the 5 youths, who entered in the jail quarter with the kidnapped girl. Police also informed the rape incident took place in a quarter of a died ex-jail employee named Purnabasi Debbarma and his wife is involved in this crime. Women Police have registered a case no- 8/ 2018. Under Section- 366 (A)/ 511/376/341-IPC. Along with Purnabasi Debbarma's wife 5 youths have been arrested on spot.
The arrested men are : 1) Mh Mustifa Ahmed (22), S/o-Mh Abdul Karib, 2) Amar Hossain (24), S/O-Abdul Aziz, 3) Riaz Uddin (19), S/O-Mh Najrul Haque, 4)Mh Kalim Uddin (22), S/O-Mh Jamgod Ali, 5)Mana Mia (21), S/O-Soiud Mia.
3 theft bikes were also recovered from them. On yesterday the all 6 accused were produced before the Court and following the court order all of them have been sent to suffer 11 days' Jail Custody.
