AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): The Agartala-Delhi Express Services' schedules to be expanded soon and talks are going on in this regard with the central govt so that almost everydays in a week Express Trains may go for Delhi, such has been claimed by Tripura Chief Minister Biplab deb today at Agartala. CM was addressing in a TATA Trust organized programme on 'Graduation ceremony of Enthusiastic Youths of Various Skilling Sectors' at Pragna Bhawan. The Chief Minister Biplab Deb said, "Including Rajdhani 3 times, the express trains are going to Delhi and I have requested the Railway Ministry to increase the Rajdhani's service for at least another day". "Already I have requested the Railway Ministry to take care of the Delhi-Agartala Railway communication issue so that almost everyday Express trains may operate between Agartala & Delhi. Now, talks are going on in this regard". Noteworthy, The Agartala - Anand Vihar Terminal Rajdhani Express is a Rajdhani class train belonging to the Northeast Frontier Railway zone, and runs between Agartala and Anand Vihar Railway Station in New Delhi, India. It is currently being operated as train numbers 20501/20502 on a weekly basis.
The Tripura Sundari Express is a weekly express train belonging to Northern Railway Zone of India, that runs between the cities, Anand Vihar in (Delhi) and Agartala in (Tripura) State. It is currently being operated with 14019/14020 train numbers on weekly basis.
