DHARMANAGAR / AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): Dharmanagar Police have arrested 5 kidnappers from the jail quarter zone at there. The incident took place on yesterday night, when 5 youths after kidnapping a minor girl, raped her in Jail Quarter with the help of one lady. The 16 years minor girl was returning from her tutor's home in the evening at Akon-Bakon area of Jail Quarter line. The kidnappers were first seen by jail-staffs who took shelter in the quarter on yesterday night for this brutal crime. Police rushed to the spot immediately after getting informed about the 5 youths, who entered in the jail quarter with the kidnapped girl. Police also informed the rape incident took place in a quarter of a died ex-jail employee named Purnabasi Debbarma and his wife is involved in this crime. Women Police have registered a case no- 8/ 2018. Under Section- 366 (A)/ 511/376/341-IPC.
