AGARTALA, April 14 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb while addressing at Dr B R Ambedkar's birth anniversary in ONGC complex today said, "I feel very sad when instead of worshiping great persons like Netaji Subash Ch. Bose and Dr. B R Ambedkar, some people are running after foreign figures". "I am not against anybody's ideology but what want to say, if so many great figures including Vallabhbhai Patel are there, why they run after other countries figures ?" "Thinking should be Swadeshi. In our country Mahatma Gandhi had born, Swami Vivekananda had born. We don't need to hire ideology from other countries like China and Russia", he said. "This is nothing but the lust for others' properties. Example is Israel, which due to its self-less policy has become No-1 country of the world. "Japan which was devastated during World War, due to its strength has emerged as a strong country", CM added. "Dr B R Ambedkar has talked about that policy only, which is based on patriotism and equal mindset for all", Biplab Deb said.
