AGARTALA, April 12 (TIWN): Tripura Congress led by the 'Yuva Congress' leaders today sold 'pakodas' in Agartala to hit Modi Govt's promise of 2 crores of jobs for the youths per year. The Congress youths today set the dais before the Congress Headquarter in Agartala and sold "pakodas". A good numbers of buyers were also observed in front of the 'thela' of the Congress youths. The significance of the demonstration was to mean that even after PM Modi's pre-election promise of 2 crore jobs per year, a heavy numbers of youths have remained unemployed and also instead of new jobs opportunities, the existing jobs are cutting down.

The Congress leaders in Tripura have also claimed, the way Modi Govt had fooled the youths, in the same way Biplab Deb will also fool the 8 lakhs unemployed youths of Tripura.  ​

Talking to TIWN, Congress leader Gopal Roy said, "Modi has promised pakoda jobs in last 4 years and in Tripura also no job will be created under Chief Minister Biplab Deb". 

"We have seen the four years of Modi Govt's false promises. In Tripura also nothing will happen and no job is going to be gifted to youths in coming days", Gopal Roy said.
