'Rs. 285.30 crore asked from centre for Tripura's TTADC development

AGARTALA, April 11 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has sought supports from the Central Govt in 23 areas. Among them on behalf of Tribal Welfare Dept Rs. 285.30 cores have been demanded.
CM was delivering speech at NITI-Forum for Northeast's meeting at State Guest House in the presence of DoNER Minister Jitendra Singh.
The Chief Minister said, "The tribal Welfare Dept has sent a special Assistance of Central Plan schemes is Rs. 285.30 crore to take up development in TTADC areas".
CM has urged the Govt of India to look after the fund sanctioning, so that works on those areas begin as soon as possible.
