AGARTALA, April 10 (TIWN): After the one month of the BJP Govt in Tripura, when the state's job aspirants are preparing for TET exam of May month, resentment continues with fake B.Ed certificate holders are in Tripura govt jobs. Neither the previous, nor the present govt has shown interest to re-verify the B.Ed certificates, which were allegedly borrowed from Kolkata. With new Govt has assumed charges, pending demands have been raised by a section of teachers and also unemployed youths that the new govt must re-verify the teachers' B.Ed certificates, especially when the Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath is talking about 'Quality Education'. Ratan Lal Nath already expressed concerns about the teachers-crisis issue, whereas the rural schools are the worst sufferer, but at the same time when due to lack of B.Ed qualification many students couldn't appear in TET exam, on the other side many 'fake' B.Ed certificates were alleged time to time.
Demand raised that the state govt must upload the teachers' details of qualification with College's names in Education dept's website who were appointed via TET. On that time, CPI-M Govt didn't bother about the demand but with the changing of Govt the resented people are raising their demands, hoping for rapid action.
During CPI-M's time to time serious allegations were raising against some newly appointed Tripura Govt teachers for managing fake B.Ed certificates to sit in TET and joining in Govt schools on permanent basis and most of them are GT (Graduate Teachers). Many youths who changed their streams with MBA, MCA and were working outside the state have suddenly holding B.Ed degrees, have raised quite surprises among the public. However, from where the degrees are supplying it's not sure.
Even though verification were done but the public are not happy and satisfied with state govt led verification.
As a result demands had raised by a section of youths that Tripura Govt should publish the whole list of teachers with the teachers B.Ed College's names, so that self-investigation may become easier for public.
On other side, qualified B.Ed degree holders are derived of even the last TET exam which was to be held,
