AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): Customers are suffering as maximum CNG stations have remained closed due to the strike called by the workers.
Joyjeet Chaudhuri, Head (Marketing) , Tripura Natural Gas Company had called an urgent press conference at the Press Club, urging the workers to restore the service as customers are suffering.
“Our main concern is about the PNG users. Without PNG households will not able to cook at their homes”, Joujeet Chaudhury told TIWN over phone.
Whereas their all demands are fulfilled but a section of workers who are not directly working under the company but working under the compressor their demands are pending under Labour Dept, but the employees have denied to withdraw the strike without being satisfied with their all demands.
Around 12000 auto drivers have been affected today due to the strike. Along with auto drivers, same problem can be faced at houses, cremation grounds, orphan houses etc.
Resentment have brewed among the common people as well as TNGCL employees, who are unable to manage the condition as only 17 employees right now are working on regular basis under TNGCL.
