AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): BJP Govt's 4th cabinet meeting has approved land allocation for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at Kumarghat subdivision's North Machmara area.

Addressing a press conference, Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said, "In the cabinet meeting, Govt has decided to allocate 50 kani of land to JNV".

"The price of the land is huge, but for Educational development, our govt is determined and thus we have allocated the land without any cost", Roy said.

Social Welfare Minister Santana Chakma said, "I thank the cabinet for approving the proposal. The students at there are unable to get quality education, but now our children will be able to study at JNV".
