AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): Minister of PWD (DWS) Sudip Barman held a review meeting today at Gorkhabosti office with Engineers and DWS Dept officials.

Water crisis is the biggest ever challenge before the BJP Govt in the hilly state where in 2 decades of CPI-M era, the govt failed to mitigate the problems.

Everyday road blockade demanding water crisis problems solution had become daily schedule.

In some places people were forced to drink stocked rain water due to water crisis. 

However recently for rural development BJP Central Govt had allocated Rs. 241 crores for immediate rural development.

With all these, meeting was conducted at Secretariat under DWS led by Minister Sudip Barman.
