AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): State Govt is taking initiative to set up secured networks in important locations of Agartala City in PPP model.

Agartala Smart City Limited is seeking ‘Expression of Interest’ (EOI) for setting up of secured Wi-Fi network on PP mode on various important locations of Agartala City.

Hospitals, Education Institute, Airport, Railway Station etc will be brought under wifi-connection.

“Such connectivity facilitate speedier and secured transactions, knowledge and information dissemination hassle free interaction amongst stake holders  duty holders”, Agartala Smart City limited said in the proposal.

It will facilitate these demands : 1) Use of mobile governance, 2)Providing customized alerts, 3) Increase of productivity, 4) scalability, 5) Use of VOIP facility, 6) Increase in satisfaction level of citizens and tourists etc.
