Expired medicines administered to school students in Tripura

UDAIPUR, April 4 (TIWN): Many students fell sick after they were administered with expiry dated medicines today at Hirapur School in Udaipur.
School Principal Ratna Sadhan Jamatia has accepted that the students were given expired medicines in negligence.
According to Govt rules every weeks, the students are given medicines : Iron tablet, deworming tablets.
But the school authority had provided expired iron tablet to the school children led many of them to fall sick.
After the matter was disclosed locals, guardians came in protest and asked the HM about the reason behind such negligence.
