AGARTALA, April 2 (TIWN): Tripura CM Biplab Deb has announced today that a food processing plant will be introduced at Champaknagar where local people are very poor and based on ‘jhum’ cultivation.

“Govt has also decided to set a food processing plant for the locals here (Champaknagar), who are living under poverty. They can cultivate pineapples at here”, Chief Minister has announced today when he was visiting on Howrah river banks.

CM also met the locals of Champaknagar and discussed with them about their problems in details. The water crisis problem was alleged at most.
