AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN): Even though only 11 months have left for the General Election (Lok Sabha), Tripura CPI-M right now is not thinking about it, said the State Party Secretary Bijan Dhar today.
Bijan Dhar, Manik Sarkar, Badal Choudhury, Gautam Das, Rama Das, Bajuban Reang are now attending the Central Committee meeting since 3 days at Delhi with all Politburo members, which will end by tomorrow.
Bijan Dhar said, "From Sitaram Yechury to Prakash Karat all are present in the meeting including each politburo member. Basically at Haryana, the PB-meeting is discussing about the 3 years of performance".
"The meeting among CPI-M central committee members had started with Tripura election result-reviewing session. Now, I am not the right person to announce the meeting details, as tomorrow in a press conference from Delhi, the decisions will be announced but ofcourse election results of Tripura and the ongoing violence in Tripura were discussed at there", Bijan Dhar told TIWN over phone from Delhi.
CPI-M state leader Ex-Deputy Assembly speaker Pabitra Kar said, "Right now, we are trying to overcome post Assembly Election situations. Nothing is normal in Tripura. Our supporters are still afraid, they are being attacked ! Forget about Lok Sabha, let's overcome Bidhan-Sabha".
"We know, how to fight in difficult situations and how to come-back. So, that attempt will be taken soon"., Pabitra Kar added.
