TIWN March 22, 2018

AGARTALA, March 22 (TIWN): Along with locals, GB Hospital Doctors, AGMC students of hostel have come in massive protest today with their day to day problems.
They raised questions, why there was no action against 15 stolen bikes, why no CCTV cameras are working, where is the safety of the students, why there is no proper supply of water etc.
Their demands are :
1) To avail the drinking water facilities : Since years, the students are suffering from drinking water crisis inside the hostel. Doctors and other staffs in quarter are also left in similar miserable condition. With that issue the students have raised voice today and blocked the road on behalf of all sufferers,
2) Students demanded to mitigate the security threats inside the GB complex,
3) To find out the bike thieves as soon possible. In last 6 month at least 15 bikes were stolen but police failed to recover a single bike.
The students blocked road for hours demanding Chief Minister's response to it.
