AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): Tripura will get a plastic park soon in coming days, a govt official source said.

During Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb and Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma’s Delhi visit, Union Minister of Chemical and Fertilizers Ananth Kumar met the state leaders and talked about setting up of Plastic park.

Union Minister of Chemical and Fertilizers also assured full support of CIPET project which may provide direct employment of 5000 youths per year.

This project will be completed within 2 months named ‘Ma Tripura Sundari CIPET’ project.

The will be also a ‘Plastic Waste Management Centre’ near CIPET.

The funding patter which is now 50 : 50, will be reviewed to convert 90 : 10 under the dept.
