AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma have met BJP National President Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at New Delhi today.
Both CM and Deputy CM have flied to Delhi to discuss on the serious economic problems that the state is facing after the 5 sets of communist govt formation in state.
Tripura Govt is also expecting a good amount of central-fund's sanctioning for the state, so that it would become easy for the state to end its promises with fulfilment.
However, Tripura is not a single Northeast state which is facing such economic problems, but Meghalaya and other Northeast states too facing the same.
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has promised to help the Northeast states fully, so that the states can stand on its own feet.
