AGARTALA, March 18 (TIWN): Tripura's new Chief Minister Biplab Deb today sat in discussion with his Banamalipur constituency's party workers.

This is the first Mandal Committee meeting after the election result. 

Before joining the Mandal Committee meeting, Biplab Deb addressing media said the local problems will be discussed here including the water-logging problems.

"My constituency Banamalipur is the worst sufferer of Agartala flood in the rainy season. This will be discussed in details and also suggestions will be taken from the local leaders", he said.

Media further asked, what about the ongoing slow drainage works across Agartala. 

Biplab Deb replied, "Don't worry. Now BJP Govt is power. All works will be going fast"
