AGARTALA, March 17 (TIWN): After 9 days of the BJP Govt in power, MP Jiten Chowdhury raised question, "Why media is mentioning CPI-M's name while projecting violence ? I think media should open eyes and inspect".
"IPFT, BJP have occupied our 40 year's old party offices. They are demanding donations from public forcefully. There is no rule of law in Tripura. Still media is silent !", said Jiten Chowdhury.
"Many journalists are holding talk-shows saying in last 25 years CPI-M tried to seize the power of fourth pillar of democracy. But I want to ask in last 25 years have you experienced such lawlessness era ?", he said.
"Unfortunately, except very few media houses, either channels or newspapers they don't publish the news neutrally. Hardly they are saying 'CPI-M' alleged......", said Jiten Chowdhury.
"We urge to the 4th pillar of democracy to be impartial... we feel somewhere the role of 4th pillar of democracy is relaxing", he added.
