AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): Like any-other previous case, this time also Agartala NIT has taken very strict action against final year B.Tech student after the College authority found his involvement in ragging activities.
In the expulsion notice, it was written, "Based on recommendation of Disciplinary Committee of NIT, Agartala NITA, the competent authority has taken decision that one final year student is expelled from the current semester. He will not be considered as the academic appreciation. He is also directed to vacate the hostel within 24 hours".
"If he is found in the hostel premises, a stern action will be taken by the hostel authority. He will not allowed for the campus interview due to deep involvement in physical assault of one first year student", the Dean ordered.
According to sources, NIT is taking action against more number of students involved in the case, but right inquiry is going on.
