AGARTALA / BELONIA, March 11 (TIWN): After visiting Belonia College Square, where recently Lenin's statue was bulldozed, CPI-M General secretary Sitaram Yechury said, "They can pull down idols, but not the ideology".

Yechury was addressing in a press conference at Belonia pinching on how the RSS 'was banned' adding the quotes of Vallabhbhai Patel.

"Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel while banning RSS said, the cult of violence sponsored by the Sang has claimed many lives including Gandhiji"........"RSS is banned", said Yechury.

"The cult of violence is there in their ideology and thus many violence were registered earlier too, but such kinds of politics were never succeeded", said Yechury.
