AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath today said, the BJP led Tripura Govt's aim is not only Education, but 'Quality Education' will be the first priority.
Nath was addressing in a convention conducted by the TET Qualified teachers, who were striving a lot against the CPI-M Govt following the heavy deprivations done to them. The teachers, even after being qualified were kept in fixed scale and were provided with half salaries.
Ratan Lal Nath said, "Without quality education, a society can't develop but in the 25 years of the left regime the quality in education-system had never upgraded".
"Even after qualified well with Tripura background, often it has been seen our youths can't compete with Delhi youths, either in case of spoken English or in confidence. Why should it happen ? Thus our first priority is Quality Education", said Nath.
"As teachers are the backbone of the society, thus our first preference among all govt employees will be the teachers. They are indeed the reformers of the society", said the Minister.
