AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): 21 Assam Rifles under the HQ 12 sector, jointly organized a Polio Vaccination programme with District hospitals for all children under age of five years on Pulse Polio immunization day.

At Gomati Agartala, Udaipur, Khowai the vaccination programme was conducted.

"A total of 350 children have been vaccinated across Agartala, Khowai and Udaipur", said Assam Rifles official press release.

The local people were overwhelmed with the initiative taken by Assam Rifles and much enthusiasm was observed among the parents too.
