AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): Congratulating the newly powered BJP, which is all set to form its next Govt in Tripura, the Govt Employees Federation members have demanded to form Department-wise Anti-Corruption committees to remove the roots of all corruptions.
Addressing a press meet here in Agartala, Samar Roy, the Chief of Tripura Govt Employees Association said, "We welcome the new BJP Govt which is to be formed. Under the CPI-M Govt since 25 years the employees have been deprived and looted. We hope the new Govt will solve the problems as fast as possible".
"At the same time we also demand that in each-depts an Anti-Corruption Committee will be formed to stop all kinds of corruptions in the coming days", he said.
Being asked by media, what will the dept do if the new govt also fails to fulfill its promises Samar Roy replied, "We will definitely protest then, as our committee is not to support a party, rather to fight for employees rights".
