AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): "Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has written to the Governor of Tripura to check violence" rumour is totally baseless and lie.

In the afternoon Governor has tweeted, "The Governor has received no such written communication from the Union Home Minister. I do not know who you are,but I ask you not to spread false rumours on social media".

"I am not bothered about who he is. He was trying to misinform people on this media,so that clarification was necessary", Roy further tweeted.
