‘15 shops were burnt by IPFT at Mandai, 3 arrested’ : SP

AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): Three IPFT activists have been arrested at Mandai after they burnt local shops at there.
SP West Abhijit Saptarshi said, “Around 15 shops were burnt today by some IPFT activists during a market day, led police to throw tear gas"
"Section 144 was imposed at there. But the situation is totally under control and strict observations of police to be there", SP told TIWN.
The issue before media was raised by CPI-M MP Jiten Chowdhury in a press conference today and asked BJP to take liabilities as before coming in power they promised so via ‘Cholo Paltai’.
