AGARTALA, August 29 (TIWN): OBC Joutha Andolan Mancha, Sadar committee in collaboration with Jirania and Mohanpur committee is likely to conduct a one-day convention at Matangini Pritilata Hall here on Aug 31

The convention would focus on their prolonged demands that include OBC reservation and facilities like scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. Besides, OBC Joutha Andolan Mancha is also going to hold its divisional convention at Bishalgarh Town Girls’ high School here on Sep 07 next.

 The organization has been struggling since long time for the reservation of Other Backward Class (OBC) community, awarding stipend, loan, upgradation of OBC Department including all facilities enjoyed by the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities.
