AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): Heavyweight Minister Manik Dey has been defeated by BJP candidate Sushanta Chowdhury at Majlishpur.

BJP is leading the Election, even though the final result yet to be declared.

On February 27, TIWN's survey on each ministers of Tripura, had lifted Minister Manik Dey's name as the topmost failed Minister among all the Ministers of state cabinet who is holding transport dept, Rural Development (Panchayat) , Urban Development Dept, Power dept.

Today Manik Dey has lost in the election battle, the final result said.
