AGARTALA, Feb 28 (TIWN): With a successful drive, West Police at Agartala have nabbed a culprit while carrying huge numbers of liquor bottles via his auto.

OC of West Police Station Subrata Chakraborty said that the auto bearing number TR01E 3990 was caught by police today after the troops were informed by their secret sources about the illegal activity of the auto driver.

 The driver named Bimal Pal was also arrested.

 Bimal Pal was carrying the liquors from Lalmaitya to Amtali. At Gol Bazar police held the raid. The raid was also a part of special drive for counting session of the Assembly Poll. 

 “Around Rs. 25,000 worth items were seized in the drive”, said Police.
