AGARTALA, Feb 26 (TIWN): Election Commission of India has appreciated state media for being "supporting" with election commission in every sectors including propagating of correct information among the mass.
CEO Sriram Taraninati said, "We feel that we have been very positively supported by the media and particularly a good relationship we enjoyed".
"There will be much more interference among us and Tripura media as there are re-poll, counting and Charilam Assembly poll", said the CEO.
Tripura has just undergone a poll session on February 18, when state Assembly Election was conducted and now the process is being followed by 6 polling stations' re-polling and one postponed polling at Charilam constituency due to one candidate's death.
The vote counting is on March 3rd along with two other Northeast states Meghalaya and Nagaland.
