AGARTALA, Feb 24 (TIWN): One day after fuming against State Election Commission, accusing top-to-bottom polling personnel of 'Criminal Negligence' and 'Criminal Callousness', CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar today strictly denied that CPI-M 'lost hopes on EC'.
"We never said that we mistrust Election Commission, but ofcourse we criticized them. The staffs involved in the election duty were new and thus it happened", said Dhar.
Bijan Dhar further criticized the polling personnel for lack of preparation.
"Actually people are resented. Earlier (February-18) till latenight voting continued but after all, everybody had cast their votes, which is most important. What we criticized is not at all important", he said.
The CPI-M State Secretary also said that CPI-M will form the 8th Left-Front Govt surely.
