AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): A populated area in Agartala named Icha-Bazar has narrowly escaped from massive fire today, with fire brigade team's immediate action and local people's tremendous efforts.
The incident took place at Sripalli area of Icha Bazar, when in a bush suddenly fire sparked off.
Immediately local people came in action and also informed the fire brigade.
2 fire brigade engines rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. Local people are happy with the immediate action taken by fire brigade.
Above 5000 people are residing at Icha Bazar area, where the incident took place. Also markets are nearby where the incident has taken place.
