AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): Tripura which is now ranking 25th among its 36 numbers of states and union territories in GDP rate, is not based on the current data.

The central govt has listed Tipura with 2014-15's record, but since 2 years the GDP record was not disclosed.

The Wikipedia has  labeled Tripura's GDP with Barbados's GDP, an Island country.

For few states, when the GDP rate was shown with the latest 2017-18's record, in case of Tripura there was no update after 2014-15. But when Tripura is ranking 25 the five more Northeast states Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Aruncachal Pradesh. These 5 states are ranking below Tripura in GDP rate. Tripura’s GDP rate has been shown as 29,666 crore according to 2014-15 ranks 25.
