AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): BJP has expressed concerns on the delaying of postal ballots delivery via by-post to the voters, who yet couldn’t cast votes in postal ballot.
In a press note, BJP spokesperson Ashok Sinha said, “The polling personnel who couldn’t cast their votes in postal ballot, the Election Commission has sent the ballot papers to them through by post. But till now the voters haven’t received the ballot papers”.
“We do believe that everybody has the voting right, which needs to be confirmed”, said Sinha.
The BJP also urged the voters to contact the post-office nearby and also requested Election Commission as well as the Post-office authorities to look into the matter, so that the citizens’ voting rights are not violated.
