Housewife burnt in fire, dies : Husband undergoing treatment

UDAIPUR, Feb 20 (TIWN): One housewife has died in fire incident at Chataria village of Gokulpur in Udaipur.
The deceased is Ruma Majumder, W/O- Sukanta Sarkar. Husband Sukanta Sarkar has also severely injured after he tried to save his wife.
Both the hands of Sukanta has been burnt, is now undergoing treatment at Gomati Dist Hospital.
The incident took place on yesterday night when Ruma was cooking. Ruma's family members didn't lodge any complaint against their son-in-law.
Local people are however unready to take the incident as normal, as in the whole room there was no sign of fire-burning.
The tragic incident has generated tension among the locals.
