AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): One day after the assembly-poll was done, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sriram Taranikanti said that after Election Commission completes the scrutinizing reports, the repolling can be conducted.

“ I like to mention that in case of Dhalai there is a mechanism by that the mock-poll numbers can be checked first. Then there is an alternative system too and so we are sending the reports to the Commission”, added CEO.

“It’s only the commission, which takes the decision. Only after the scrutiny, things can be done”, said CEO.
