TYF leader to battle for CPI-M at Charilam

CHARILAM, Feb 19 (TIWN): Charilam election was delayed after CPI-M's Charilam constituency candidate Ramendra Narayan Debbarema has passed away on February 11.
However after the polling was ended on yesterday in 59 constituencies, today CPI-M has announced the new candidate will be Pallab Debbarma, who an active leader of Tribal Youth Federation (TYF).
Lt. Ramendra Debbarma died of a heart attack. From BJP the candidate is Jishnu Deb Barma at Charilam.
After the tragic incident, the election for the particular constituency was postponed to February 11.
