From 78.56 % the Voting rate jumped to 89.08 %

AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): The voting percentage which was 78.56 % till 9 PM on yesterday, suddenly it has jumped to 89.08 %.
The CEO Sriram Taranikanti has told media that the total percentage of voting is 89.08 % as the voting was continuing till late night.
Yesterday, talking to media, CEO Sriram Taranikanti said that as per last report till 9 PM the voting percentage went 78.56 %.
This sudden increase of voting rate has generated resentment and also tension among a section of voters. The resentment is however has been fueled by EVM malfunctioning issues due to which people had to wait in queues for 8-9 hours also in few polling stations.
