AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): Following the Assembly Election which was conducted across 59 constituencies of Northeast state Tripura on yesterday, a survey reveals that common people, especially youngsters who never showed any interest in politics were uploading their pictures showing their inked-nails after votes and most of them also wrote 'time for change' or 'cholo-paltai'.
A total 47,803 numbers of new voters are there in the voter list for Tripura Assembly Election this year.
Before the Election the new voters were trained by the Election Commission via seminars, workshops.
A total 25,734,13 voters, male 13,05,375,female 12,68,027 and 11 of Third gender are eligible cast vote on February 18.
However over 78 per cent of Tripura's 2,536,589 voters had cast their votes on Sunday in a peaceful manner to elect a new Assembly.
